Gospel Music in the African Church

The Center for Christian Studies is currently presenting on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 a class on the origins, evolution, and interpretation of Gospel Music in the African American Church. It's being taught by Jackie Egins.

Ms Egins is the Director of Egins Enterprises, Education, and Entertainment for all Occasions. She volunteers for the Liberty Theater Cultural Center, the Board of Directors of the River Center for the Performing arts, and the Open Door Community Center. She is president of the Orchette Social Club, secretary of the Columbus Chapter of the Links, Inc., and is the Director of Music at St. Mary's Road United Methodist Church.

If you love gospel and spiritual music, Ms Egins will both educate you and inspire you.
